Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will shut their doors after administrators failed to attract buyers for the sites. Seven of the sites are in Queensland. The closures follow the provider's financial collapse, which has left families rushing to find alternative care arrangements.
Administrators successfully sold some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 attracted no interest. Parents have been given minimal notice to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown moves ahead.
