Edmonton Oilers to trade for hockey's biggest enforcer? Don't rule it out - Edmonton Journal — The Oilers are reportedly interested in acquiring Matt Rempe from the Rangers.

The Edmonton Oilers are considering a trade for New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe. Known for his aggressive style and reputation as the NHL's most notorious tough guy, Rempe's toughness could strengthen the Oilers' roster. However, opinions vary on whether this move would benefit the Oilers' current strategy. Multiple sources have linked the Oilers to Rempe, suggesting the team is considering options to improve its lineup. Rempe's intimidating presence has been a key part of the Rangers' lineup, and his intimidation factor could be a valuable addition to the Oilers. However, the Oilers will need to weigh the pros and cons of this move before making a decision.
