The Las Vegas Aces fell in a tight contest 83-81 to the Golden State Valkyries on Oct. 9 in a WNBA semifinal, with the series far from over. Guard Jackie Young stood out for her hustle as she worked to help the Aces fight their way back, according to ESPN coverage.
A'ja Wilson set a new milestone during the game, surpassing Diana Taurasi's WNBA playoff scoring record and creating a separate moment of note. The Aces now face pressure to even the series after the narrow defeat. Both teams return to action with the series on the line.
