Macklin Celebrini returned to the lineup and scored a goal during a narrow defeat to the Edmonton Oilers. The young attacker, who had been sidelined, appeared in the game alongside fellow prospect Will Smith, who also featured in the NHL. Even with the defeat, the Sharks found a positive moment as Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal in a separate game against the Boston Bruins.
