Tom Selleck has not agreed to return for Boston Blue, the Blue Bloods spinoff. He played Frank Reagan for 14 seasons on the original show. Showrunners say they hope to bring him back and are keeping the door open, but nothing is signed.
The spinoff is now in its second season. Season 2 kicked off with Episode 1, called "The Crash," which aired October 10, 2026. Fans who want to see Selleck back on screen will have to wait for an official announcement.
